I have booked my trip for May through Disney site. I have had all my confirmation emails and have printed off the letter etc. What happens now, do I get anything sent to me or do I get it on the train ( I have disney express with eurostar). thanks

Hiya if you have Disney Express you will recieve your park tickets etc on the train. I think they basically check you in on the train. Which means at 3pm or after you just need to go to the hotel and collect your key to your room.

If im wrong someone will be probably correct me, as ive not used Disney Express before.

Emma is right, you check in on the train & get your park passes then.

thanks. so all i take to ashford is what i ave printed off from disney, my confirmation letter etc. how do i know where i am sat on eurostar or will i not know till i get there.

you only need to take the confirmation letter with you and get everything on the train

everything is well organised in terms of seating etc. there're numbers in front of all the coaches and usually eurostar people help

I'm sorry, can't really help... We live in London and have travelled from Waterloo but next month we're going from St. Pancras. I believe there's someone else who can help re: Ashford.

At Waterloo (and probably St. Pancras now) there were signs for the Eurostar all over the station. When you get to the terminal, there're lots of Eurostar people helping everyone to get on the train. While you're waiting, there's a Disneyland desk where you get a special tag to put on your bags (Disney Express service). You take your luggage with you on the train and when you get to France you just drop the bags off at the Disney desk at the train station where they give you the tickets.

It's very easy although it may seem very complicated... Everyone will be able to help.

Your Eurostar tickets will be sent out to you before you go along with luggage labels.
You'll need your tickets to go through the first turnstile. Then you have to go through luggage control, this bit is a bit of a pain, cos you have to take coats off, plus you have your cases with you and hand luggage, etc., once that's out of the way and you're all dressed again :rotfl:
you head for the departure lounge, there are cafes, shops etc. here and wait for the train to be announced. I think you show your tickets, passports once more before you're allowed down onto the platform. Your tickets will tell you your carriage, seat number and the platform is marked accordingly - it's really simple. There's storage at the end of each carriage for your suitcases.

On board the train Disney staff will come around and hand out your Disney Express service luggage tags and a pack which will include your park tickets, any other vouchers needed for booked character meals, Buffalo Bill tickets etc. In fact the only thing missing is your Hotel Room Key, which you'll get at checkin at the hotel, when you check in is upto you, your luggage will be taken there for you leaving you free to go straight into the park.
At Marne la Vallee, Disney stop you make your way up from the platform and the Disney Express desk is one floor up from ground level.:)

It really is a easy process at ashford.
When you arrive go in the lift of up the stairs. Outside the lift is a huge picture of mickey and the lift has disney pictures on it so you cant not miss what way to go lol.
Then you give your ticket to the person they put it through the turnstiles, then you put your luggage to get scanned the after that you show your passport and passport control.
Then your in the waiting area, its really easy. I was panicking when i first went but the process is really simple.

have a great time :)

thanks guys for the info and photo's going to be a pain and ask another question saves me searching for it. I think it was Jill that put the photo up and i noticed you had quite a few cases what are you allowed each adults and kids. thanks again

Yep I take everything with me :rotfl:
In my defence there were 2 families there and we were going for almost a week.
You are allowed 2 items of baggage per person, plus 1 small item of hand luggage. I'd suggest medium sized rather than the large red one like my sister's got in the pic, they're easier to handle if you have to lift them up onto the luggage racks, there is no restriction on weight though. :)

thanks i was going to take two medium between me and my husband and a small backpack each. the children were going to take a kids trolley on wheels each and we have a travel buggy too, does this sound o.k?
