I just booked a 4 day cruise in February through Costco. I want to go to the parks 3 days before the cruise and 3 days after. I am a DVC member so I booked my resort through DVC before after my cruise. I have been an annual passholder for the last couple of years so I have not kept up with the ticket changes. 3 members is my party will need park tickets for the 6 days we want to do at the parks. I knew you had to pick a date to go but I was surprised that a six day ticket expired the day I got off the boat. I still need two more days. A six day ticket would be 547 and 2 3 day tickets would be 420 and 461. So 881 combined. I computer chatted with DCL on their website. They said if I link my Disney world tickets with my cruise reservation the 6 day tickets would have a 14 day expiration. They said I would have to buy the tickets through Costco.

Does anyone have experience with this?

I had heard there it is possible for DCL cruisers to get an extended use-window on the new tickets. I don't think I've heard of anyone who has actually done it. The the rep give you an idea of how to link your WDW tickets to DCL? Or do you need to purchase some kind of Land & Sea combo? I assume the reason you need to do it through Costco is because your DCL reservation is with Costco, therefore they are the only ones who can modify your cruise reservation. If you do this, please let us know how it works.

Enjoy your cruise!

she did not say how to link them but since the reservation is through Costco to go to them. I will call Costco travel soon. I thought I could save a few bucks by going through them with the cash card. I guess I will see how that works out.

You can add the flex option onto your tickets you purchase through Disney. This will make them valid for 14 days after first use.

True. However, depending on dates, “flex” can be quite an expensive option — essentially bringing the ticket up to the most expensive of the year (holiday season) plus.

Enjoy your cruise!
