Booking through AAA

I've used AAA twice, to book a Disney vacation. The last one being in 2010, and I was NOT impressed with the TA. Thinking back, I think she may have talked me into booking two cabins saying my boys were too old and that the only available rooms were connecting cabins with veranda (I only planned on one cabin with a veranda). We did another cruise that I had booked while on board for 2011 and we all fit nicely (althought tight) in one inside cabin. I think I was snookered, but that was my fault for not checking I guess. Anyway....I called AAA and asked for a Disney Specialist, they took my information and said they would have someone call me back. And wouldn't you know, that same TA called me and left a message. I got no "warm fuzzys" from her or any small amount of Disney magic (I think you might know what I mean, just no happiness to book our trip, even with my son sitting next to me). I just don't want to deal with this particular TA, so my question is would I get the same discount/benefits if I book my trip through the AAA website and not go through an office? If not, I'll just go visit the AAA office the next town over or try another agency. Thanks for any advice!

Hi. I know what you mean. I booked through AAA a few years ago, then got the same TA when I tried booking again. I think certain ones cover certain areas. Anyway, I think I read on here somewhere that you can book through Disney yourself and get the AAA discount by giving them your AAA number.

If you can find the direct numbers to the AAA offices in your area and call them directly rather than just whoever the toll free number gives you that can guarantee that you get a different agent if you don't call the office that you have been getting. That is what I do.
