Booking through AAA

I called AAA today to get a price on a package I have booked through Disney. The price AAA quoted was over $400 less and the TA said she could add free dining if/when it's available.

I'm hesitant to give up control of my package to AAA or any other TA for that matter. What has your experience been booking your package through AAA? Positive? Negative? Any real differences in what you get when booking through AAA?

I booked my 2006 and 2007 trip through my AAA agent and I had a great experience.. she found the best deals for me, however.. since I am such a control freak, I booked all my ADR's myself anyway.. but either way I don't think it really made much of a difference..

Thanks! I'm thinking we'll switch our reservation over to AAA. The $400+ savings will cover almost two airline tickets. That's a huge savings considering we need 5 tickets. Plus, we don't anticipate any resort changes. And the TA said free dining could be added, which would mean even more of a savings.

Were you still able to access your ressie online?

I don't think we could do online ressies back then...
I didn't try to access it.. I just called the disney dining number and made them all without a problem.. and yes, she can add any promo that come out later...

I think I'm sold on converting my ressie over to a AAA ressie tomorrow. I'm using the IPO at AKL for my dining ADRs, so not a problem there
