I was up at 2:30am central and tried to tweak a few of my upcoming reservations, and the system didn’t work then either. Not sure why I actually thought they’d have it resolved by go time for those actually making reservations today.

Admittedly “crashed the entire ADR system” wasn’t how I thought this would go. I knew it would be bad but they exceeded my expectations.

Crashing the system wasn't on my Bingo card this morning! I didn't think this could be just as bad (or worse) than the Chefs de France brunch, but here we are!

Because you can only make ADRs 60 days out for restaurants, including Beak & Barrel (60+10 if you're an onsite guest). MVMCP reservations are farther out than that, so they won't be loaded yet.

This is honestly how things go with Disney IT more times than not. Once in awhile, launches go smoothly, but usually it's a mess.

I am a resort guest, 14 days out. I am questioning why it says we can't make reservations until Sept 3rd if it opens Aug 29th.

It says that you can't make reservations during MVMCP until Sept 3. If you are 14 days out from your trip, you aren't attending MVMCP.

So what's the general protocol here? Do people wait until the online issues are resolved or just wait an hour and then call and book over the phone? Or will that not work because they use the same system?

I think Disney pulled a fast one & changed when any reservations can be made.? I saw this yesterday and thought something was off. But who knows with them lately
