Booking the Adagio.......and some general info and stuff

Is there a trick in getting loads of mr tesco points ,we dont have a car so the petrol points are out. The furthest we have got with our club card deals is planet hollywood in london and a day at chessington lol:rotfl:

Not anymore. Mr T has stopped all the extra clubcard points and I'll have almost nothing this quarter.

The Adagio Apartments (if they are the ones that used to be called Pierre Vacances) are on the Expedia website and when I've done searches before, are often included in their sales or discounted so you can pick them up at very good prices.

I got extra clubcards and my MIL and FIL collect points for me too. To redeem them, they have to be in your name or the other person needs to be travelling with you. I also get diesel from there and all my groceries/toiletries/nappies etc. I spend a small fortune with Mr Tesco, the least he can do is pay for my holidays.:lmao:

We've used the Adagio Aparthotel twice now through French Life/Tesco Clubcard deals. It has worked really well with us and we like the self-catering aspect plus the fact that it's so close to the Val d'Europe shopping centre and the station so that you can take easy trips to Paris. The rooms are small but functional and the facilities are fine. But the prices have gone up beyond belief (more than can be accounted for by the strong Euro) since we had our first trip there last April and when we go in February we'll be staying in a French Life gite 20 miles away rather than the Adagio.

As a word of warning, if anybody does decide to use the secure car park, check out internet prices for parking first; both times they've tried to charge us more than the price quoted on their website and I've had to argue my case for cheaper parking prices.

:sad2: This seems to be a phrase that we are reading more and more about 2009 prices...:sad2:

yes, i noticed the prices are well up on last years :(

but still, if i can get the accom paid for by Mr T then i am happy

do you have the link for the gite please ?

The place where we're staying is property D431 on the French Life site (can't post the link). It's a little further away than I remembered but it's only 30 minutes drive away, according to people who've stayed there.
