Booking table for 1

I want to make a booking at Carnation Cafe for breakfast , I tried to make a booking online for 1 person and it says no availability but if I book for 2 there are several options.
If I book for 2 and it's just me that turns up to eat will they charge me the $10 for a no show of the 2 nd person?

No I usually say 3 at the buffets and then tell the its two and a toddler (whose free) and its never an issue.

Odd...I didn't have any trouble getting a table at Carnation (and Carthay also) for just me. In fact, at Carnation, they sat me at a table for 4, when I saw tables for 2 available.

I had no trouble at Carthay but if u look at Carnation for Bfast on the 15 Oct it says nothing for 1 but 9am and 10.50 for 2 people - so I'm going to just book for 2 - I want Mickey Waffles!!

I just tried for every meal for both your travel date and another date and it wouldn't let me book anything for 1 but could book for 2.

Doesn't seem fair that they would not allow a single person to dine.

I generally go to DLR solo and always book ADRs for 2 for the reasons you've already mentioned. I've never had a problem with checking in at the podium at the time of reservation and telling them that I'll be the only one dining.
