Hellooooo! We (my DH and I) have just decided today to maybe change our planned August trip (that hasn't been booked yet) to May instead. I have a DD with food allergies, so those table service meals are very important to us. Just wondering, coming in this late in the game, will ADRs be difficult to make. We are *very* open about where we dine, we have a few faves we'd like to visit again, and we are pretty open to flexible dining times, just wondering if anyone had any insight.

TIA!

We are going mid May and I was able to book Chef Mickey for the 12 at 730pm with no problems. The Hoop de ---- had availability on the 2 tier at the 9pm show and 3 tier at the 7pm show. That was the only day we checked. What are your favorite Resturants and why?

We are going in May, already have our ADR's. We made them two weeks ago and had no problems getting what we wanted. We wvwn called yesterday and changed 3 of them and still got what we wanted.

Just added an ADR for Ohana on May 28 for 3 people - no problem, had my choice of a few times.

lbullard - My and DH's favorite restaurant is Boma...but there are still so many I want to try, kwim? It is our favorite for the food and the atmosphere and experience. We really had one of the best experiences out of many many great ones with DD's food allergies there...she got the most fantastic milk free dessert. I also enjoyed CRT for lunch, we had a window seat, I enjoyed the food (the beef stew bowl thing) and the atmosphere. But for me, it was good to have experienced it and I'll be fine to always have that single memory. Now, my DD doesn't know we are going this time around. So I casually asked her one day when she was reminiscing about WDW what her favorite restaurant was and she said Chef Mickey's and LTT. She liked the napkin swinging at Chef Mickey's and I don't know what she liked about LTT...probably that it was the only place with sweet tea, lol.

tomandrobin - thank you for your post! We're not booking until after we get our tax return funds (which should be next Friday) but I'm going to go ahead and try to do some ADRs now. Thanks again! YOu really set my mind at ease.

Excellent news Trisha!

Just made mine a few days ago and did not have a problem. Some of the really popular ones were unavailable - ie couldn't get Le Cellier for the day I wanted, and ended up at Coral Reef quite early (which works out for us). Seemed to be good availability at good times (i.e. most of ours are btwn 5:30 and 6pm). I just switched Breakfastosaurus at AK from 9am to 8:10am this morning with no problem). I would suggest getting on them though, the longer you wait the more things book up. Good luck. :thumbsup2

Hi!
We have a 7:10pm ADR for Chef Mickey's on the May 12th....maybe we'll see you there!! :thumbsup2

I just cancelled three and added four new ones today with no problem and a choice of times. The ones I added were Chef de France, LTT, Wolfgang Pucks, and Turf Club.

Hi my husband myself and 8 year old son are going the week of May12. We have reservations at Chec Mickey but wondered if there were others we should consider. I keep thinking about the Hoop de---- but wonder if you still sit in 3 tier are the seats ok or do you really want to be 1 and 2. Do the dancers walk around or just on stage. Any food thoughts for us would be great. We are not staying on property, to much money, so we don't have the dinning plan. Let me know your thoughts. Lynn

I made mine a few weeks ago and got everything I wanted including LeCellier, California Grill, Crystal Palace, Alfredo's, 50s Prime Time and a few others.

We are traveling May 26-June 2 and made our ADR like 2 weeks ago. There is 6 of us going and the only problem we ran into was with Le Cellier. We ended up having to split our party up in order to eat there.

Just made all of mine today and yesterday! Had no problems and the times were good. Even on Mother's Day! Also booked Cirque tickets for Saturday night before Mother's Day section 206 row AA. :cool1:

You should be good to go...

I made my ADR's for May about a month ago. The only place I had trouble getting into on my list was Le Cellier's. Good Luck!
