Hey!

Its been a while since I posted here but been lurking and reading!

So i'm off on my CRP in a few months and going one way to Orlando with VA from MAN (begrudgingly) and on Thursday my 60 day window opens to book seats.

Anyone have any idea what time the seat reservations open. Is it at midnight or a random point in the day? Being the sad person I am, I want to sit upstairs just because and if needs be will stay up til midnight to get a seat but don't want to if it will be a waste of time and won't kick in until later in the day.

Thanks!

Jack

It was 11am before the change so I guess 11? Not sure though.

Have you managed to get your seats for free? :)

Okay, will probably check at 11 then and hopefully can get upstairs!

And yes! Thankfully I have, think its an absolute joke they charge you, just another way to make more money as if it isn't expensive enough already.

I booked my seats with VA just after 8 am. I was online before 8 but couldn't book till after. I wanted seats in the bubble so made sure I was on nice and early :-)

I also booked my seats just after 8am I would call and check before the day as the bubble is hugely popular and waiting could mean no.seat

I booked on the dot of 8 am. Tried a few minutes before and it didn't save.

It's a bugbear of mine too - prices are going up all the time. Next year we are going to try another airline I think.

Anyway, hopefully you didn't listen to me and will log in at 8 :rotfl2: I couldn't get seats that early for my flight last month but it was probably a blip - I booked around 13:00.

Thanks for all your replies! Will try at 8am and see what happens!

I usually try and avoid Virgin as I feel like some airlines such as US carriers are a lot better or just as good as Virgin and often give a better price. Usually fly United from Birmingham via Newark but just happened Virgin was cheaper this time.

We shall see!
