Just tried to book room only using our AP discount for March but was told you can not book with an AP more than 3 months in advance. This sounds ridiculous to me, I wanted to compare the price to the current offer as its coming up a good price online for Disneyland hotel for our dates.

Is this right? I know sometimes CM's misinform you but don't want to bother ringing again if infact it is correct.

I dont know definitely but it may well be correct. The AP discounts differ through the year as at certain times they have extra percentage off certain hotels on certain dates so it may be they arrange these seasonally or quarterly or something so dont let you book in advance as they dont know what discount to apply apart from the standard low one - only a guess though

To be honest if you are happy with the price coming up on the site Id say book before it goes as in the past AP discounts have been lower than some of the offers around

yep, that was certainly the case the last time I booked room only with Disney with AP discount, you could only book it 90 days in advance (in fact, I'm pretty sure this condition is in the Envie+ magazines too).

We booked our AP room only rate on 23rd Feb for 6th Jun so that is a bit more than 90 days. :goodvibes For us the room price for 3 nights was about the same as the price of a 1 adult package -35%. :goodvibes

Depends on time I year I "think"

The promotion at present runs until the 30th of June and is up to 40% off according to the AP ..it was announced on the 27th of March and started on the 1st of April

Will check my copy of Envie de + when I find it ;)

Here's the pdf form of Envie de + with the offer in - back page

lilacgems - I enquired the other day about AP offers for November and was told they weren't out yet but was told to ring back early June (still not 90 days though :confused3).

Having said that, if you are looking at the 2 nights free (4 for 2), then you will find the AP rate won't be any cheaper (I think) as even with a Dream AP the max discount you get is 35% off. 2 nights free is more than that.

I could be wrong though. If you have APs anyway you could do a mixture of book with the package for one adult and then add the others at check in using APs instead of park ticket package - as others mention on here.

We are only going for 3 nights on our next trip (a long weekend) so for us the nights free offer isn't so great although just less than the 35% max AP discount. I've decided not to book on the current offer though and wait and see at the end of June - very brave of me :rotfl2:.
