Booking Question

I'm still waiting to close on recent resale purchase. I figure it will be complete in mid June. My question is what are the chances of me being able to rent a villa or one bedroom anywhere for four or five days the week after Thanksging? Thanks, I appreciate any feedback.

High demand time of year and most rooms are usually gone before 7 months out. By five months out, when you want to reserve, likely difficult to get anything for a week including even SSR, although if seeking 1BR you may get lucky at SSR or possibly OKW. Wait list can be tried but no assurance of success.

You should be able to get a 1-bedroom somewhere if you're flexible with your dates.

Studio chances are basically 0. 1BR might work out with waitlisting and flexibility.

A 1BR may still be available and would likely be SSR or maybe OKW. Studios - unlikely without waitlisting or chancing upon a cancellation.

Another option could be to rent a confirmed reservation and then rent your own points to offset the cost. You wont have full control of the reservation but you get to go at a reduced cost.

I think you have a good chance at either SSR or OKW - so far, those two have been showing full availability for 1 bedrooms. I've been tracking that week (for fun because it's our preferred week), and I last checked yesterday morning. Everything except SSR or OKW is either booked solid or only has single nights available. I love the charts provided by skier_pete they are very informative and I appreciate his efforts. My question to all is how do you think the opening of Avator and subsequent Toy Story and Star Wars lands will impact the availability timelines that are reflected in the charts? I would tend to think the patterns will shift significantly but I could be wrong.

I doubt the patterns shift. Renting has put some market pressure on, but BWV and BCV are small and popular and often a challenge at 7 anyway.

AKV is large but popular in the rental market.
