Booking question

Hi

My wife and i are planning a quick trip to see the mouse on Nov 16th. We currently are going on the AP discount.

If we choose to go using points, is that still possible? I read somewhere on the DIS boards that Member Services doesn't allow us to book within a 2 week period of the trip.

Can someone set me straight?

It doesn't hurt to give member services a call. Chances are at this point they are all booked, but you never know if there is a last minute cancelation.

You are not permitted to use your points to make a reservation outside of DVC during the last four months of the use year. That only gives them a little bit of time to sell the room that those points are based on.

Call MS and see if anything is available on points. You might get lucky.

Actually you can book on the day you want to check in if there is availability at a DVC resort. As PP stated you cannot book outside the DVC resorts within the last four months of your UY. I have never heard of anything that relates to the 2 week restriction you mentioned.
