Hi,
We are looking to return to Disney in Dec 2010 but booking shortly due to the good CDN dollar. We will be staying on-site at the Poly with a 10 day parkhopper and the dining plan. The last two trips we have booked through a TA at CAA but I am thinking of booking directly with Disney this time. My questions are:
1) If I book through Disney, can we still have our CAA/AAA discount applied to the package? This discount guarantees us some discount over the rack rate. This will make it easier for me to have more control over the reservations and likely be easier to have discount codes or PIN codes applied after the fact should they become available. .
2) If we decide to go witht he CAA TA, can a PIN code be added to this reservation once it is made if we are so luck to be given one? I know that they can apply discount codes that are available to the general public as we did this on our last trip. This will also be more convenient in terms of making regular payments on the trip before we leave
3) I am also looking for opinions on the cancellation and trip insurance that Disney offers ... we will need some cancellation protection because with three kids you never are 100% sure that the trip will be a go until you leave. In the past we have purchased the insurance through CAA for $45.
Thanks,
Amy
