Booking question, split reservation

Okay, here's the deal... My wife and I are waiting on our 11 month window to open up to book our 09 vacation. I understand the new booking policy I think but have one quetion. We are staying for 2 weeks, but switching from a 1 bedroom to a studio for the last two nights(fri/sat). I know I can book my first 7 days 11 months from checkin. I know I can call day by day adding the 8-10th nights. But when I switch to a studio for the 11th night, technically I'll be checking in, can I add these nights the next consecutive day or do I have to wait and book them 11 months from that checkin date. I guess simply does a split stay in the same resort count as 1 reservation or 2?

Since the studio nights will be a separate reservation you'll need to book those 11 months from that check in date. You cannot add them onto the dates for the earlier stay.
