Booking Port orleans

I am finally planning a Disney trip and decided on Port Orleans- Alligator Bayou. Which building would be the best to request? I have a six year old who will be spending a lot of time at the pool and would like to be close to a bus stop. Thanks

We are leaving in the morning for POR - we requested Bldg 14 - I will let you know how we make out.. and if it close!

Bldg 14 seems closest to the main bldg with the food court etc. We stayed in bldg 16 over Spring Break and it was pretty close too. 15, 17, and 18 were also reasonably close as well. Outside bldg 16, there was a quiet pool too.

We really liked 18. Easy walk to everywhere. 14 is usually booked.

Last year we stayed in building 14. It's close to food court & the buses. Great Location. Request it if you can.
