I'm working on booking an early Fall trip to Grand Californian (first trip to Disneyland!). So far, not much luck-only 2 of 6 nights booked, the first 2 days and last 2 days are waitlisted. When I called member services at precisely 8:59, at exactly the 7 month window, no rooms were available for the dates I was going to change my trip to. I think I saw somewhere that you can book DVC online an hour before member services opens. Is that right? I'm going to try to cancel my current dates that are booked and waitlisted and move my trip to 2 weeks later. When I look online through the DVC site right now, my dates that I want to change to are available (well, the first few that I can see).
The other day when I tried calling, I thought maybe I could book online after midnight, and it switched to saying I COULD book trip with date beginning the correct date, but it wouldn't actually let me. Then I tried again 2 hours before member services opened, wouldn't let me. I haven't had any luck finding the "official hours" for online booking. So, Monday morning, March 3rd, is my exact 7 month window for the dates we want to switch to. I realize there are only 48 DVC rooms at Grand Californian and my chances are not that great even with an edge. But I need to know, can I book online an hour before member services opens?
