Booking online question/wait list

I have a question. DVC member website has one of the days during the week I am not going as unavailable.

Is it better to book what is available and waitlist on the day that is not, or waitlist the entire week?

I rather it be all together so we can keep the same room etc.

If you book what's available now and wait list the one day, if it comes thru the reservations will be linked and you won't have to move.
