Just got back on 8/21 and DH said to go ahead and book our flights for next year.our dates are 7/29/2006 thru 8/5/2006.noticed that Continental's rates are really great ($198 r/t) as soon as the dates open up and was wondering if it is better to book each flight as soon as it opens up rather than wait for my return flight to open up a week later and then book both. I have noticed that the prices often jump up a few days after the date opens.
What are also some pros/cons of booking separately?
Thanks,
Trish

Just remember that people travelling one way are often pulled for extra screenings.

It depends on the airline. Some airlines one way prices are way higher than round trip.
