Booking Onboard Expiry

I haven't followed the DCL board in a few years due to being priced out of Disney cruises so am not sure if this answer is out there or not.

I have friends who booked a future cruise while on board and I believe they have until November of 2020 to take that cruise. Given the current situation, have there been any official announcements by Disney offering an extension to use their deposit?

No, there has not been. So far for all intents and purposes they seem to think they will begin sailing again 4/13... unless they have to shut down for an extended period I would not bet on there being an extension and even then, honestly? I don't think they would extend the window. If they don't book, Disney will just refund their $250 which is a much better outcome for them than allowing a 10% discount on later cruises. They'll be trying to make every cent they can going forward.
