Hello all,

I'm going on a 4-night Bahamian cruise on the Dream near the end of February. It'll be me and one other person (we're both silver castaway club members). Our booking window for onboard activities opened at the end of November, however, we couldn't access the website for the whole day due to the site being down? Yet when we were finally able to get onto the website at the end of the day, both of the things we had wanted to do were completely booked.

We had wanted Palo brunch for 2 on the 1 sea day and also mixology for that day. I know on the other cruises I've been on (all longer than this one), they save some slots for both Palo and Mixology so that people can rush to get them as soon as they get on the boat. Does this still hold true? Do we have any chance at all in getting one of these?

Also, on 4 night Bahamian cruises with just 1 sea day, do they only do Palo brunch on the 1 sea day or do they typically have it on Nassau day, for instance?

TIA!

They do hold back some spaces in Palo for onboard bookings. Whether there will be additional Mixology classes added depends.

While on most DCL cruises, Palo brunch is only offered on sea days, they have been offering Palo brunch on the dream on Nassau day, also, for a while now.

There should be places at Palo available. The first-day Navigator will have the location to check - probably Royal Palace.

The Navigators from recent4-night cruises only show Palo brunch offered on the day at sea. It is usually offered on Nassau day on the 3-night cruises.

Our recent experience on the magic with the pre-booked tastings was that everything sold out online was not available on the ship. But, there were some tastings that had not been offered online. The Dram may be different.

The other thing to say about this is keep checking back online. No one will have a penalty for cancelling until much closer to the sail date, so a lot of people change their plans up to the last few days. Oh, and don't look for 2 spots, look for 1 spot. Then if you get one, you can keep looking for another. You can always cancel the one closer to the date if you can't get the second.
