Booking on-line

Soon I shall need to book next year's accommodation at BCV. Since we will be staying over the Food and Wine Festival I think I might need to book daily..........as we want a 2 bed for 12-14 nights.

I noticed today that there is a form on the DVC Member's site, for booking on-line. As I haven't booked for couple of years, I can't remember if this form was always there. If I book using the on-line form to avoid the daily telephone calls, will I get an instant confirmed booking, or do the CM's at MS still have to process the booking meaning I lose precious time waiting ....and therefore risk not getting the booking at all?

I would call.
You are basically in a que system and they will just attend to your reservation as they go through the email requests. I did this last year to try it out for a 1 night ressie and it took them around 4 days to get back to me and they didn't even have the night I wanted.

I would def call especially as it's going to be a busy time of year.

Yes - definately call. I`ve emailed once when I couldn`t call and it took 4 days for them to respond - by then I`d got to a phone and got the day I needed.

Ok thanks for that. I know they were talking about real time on-line bookings, but they obviously haven't started yet

It will be fantastic if the off-line booking ever takes off. I haven't made any reservations yet & just became a DVC member at AKV in July. I'm a bit worried about how I will actually manage the day by day booking when the time comes as I'll be at work and can't dial internationally on my work phone.
Maybe I'll need to take a week off just to phone MS

Seriously though, anyone else had this problem and how did you get around it?
