The other three times I have been on a disney cruise, I have booked a future cruise while on the ship. This last time, I was told that there the week we wanted was a blackout date so we decided not to book on the ship. I was not surprised since it was a school holiday week. As I was looking at this site, I noticed that the week we wanted was not a blackout date. I had my travel agent call Disney and basically was told it was my fault for not booking on the ship. And that I would have still received a credit (not the 10% off) even if it is a blackout date. Is this true? Plus have any of you run into this situation and is there anything I could do to receive the "cruise" discount? Or is this just a teachable moment that I have to accept?

Thank you for the response. Even though the last week in April is a school break for us, it is not a blackout date. That is not what we were told on the ship. I did not realize that I would have received an OBC, good to know.
