Booking multiple rooms with bounceback

Not sure if this is allowed, or if it will even be available for our needs, but...

We're taking DH's extended family next summer for their first WDW vacation and will need multiple rooms (probably 4) or 2 villas. I realize you can only book one room per adult. If we do a split stay, could we book 2 rooms (DH and I each book one) with our first resort stay and 2 more for our second resort stay? With 4 rooms, I'd like to get some sort of discount if at all possible!

It depends on the bounceback offer you get.
I was able to book three rooms (told I could get 4) for our upcoming trip.
One year, they said only our room could be held, so I would call and inquire WHILE you are at/on Disney property. Once we got NOTHING in our room and learned about bounceback here on DIS, went to front desk, still nothing. I called Central reservations from the room and said I thought there was a bounceback, after confirming we were ON property I was transferred and got a bounceback with FREE DINE.
So don't be shy, ask and hopefully it will work for you. Good Luck!
