I tried booking Moonlight Magic at Typhoon Lagoon on 6/11 today, but was unable to. I've boiled it down to this.
We have two contracts, one purchased from Disney and the other purchased, with a different use year, purchased resale. We used the resale points to book a stay in June and so today I logged on to sign up. The system, once it got over "Internal Errors", didn't like the combination of user ID and reservation.
I'm wondering if the problem was that the points used for the June reservation are resale, and don't qualify for DVC Extra Benefits. There's another thread that said to use your email address, which didn't work either.
Should I have transferred all of the points that I needed for the reservation from the resale contract to the direct DVC contract and then booked the reservation?
