We normally do the whole pop up thing. We have been twice so I have not explored the sites with a 31ft camper in mind. Well, now I have to think of these things. I am booking monday or tuesday for the second week in June. I want to request a loop or site. We like privacy but ease of getting around since we are still going to be novice with the whole 31ft camper thing. We still are not sure of a golf cart yet. The bus system does not bother us either. Distance from settlement, etc. does not bother us. We just want to have plenty of trees around us. I have seen some pics of sites with little trees. I want to still feel like I am in the woods as best I can. I would appreciate your help. thanks a bunch guys!

I have been looking at the pics (for the third time) of campsites. So far my favorite is 417. How do you all feel about the 400 loop?

Make requests for amenities, not for a specific site. If you make a request for 417 and it is not available the site assigner is in the dark as to why you wanted it.

Give the info on your rig, i.e. 31' TT with a 20' tow vehicle. One slide on the back side and an awning on the front. Then list other things you want like close to a comfort station or as wooded as possible.

I really think that folks agonize too much over site requests. As long as my rig fits I have never had a bad site. I think folks need to relax a littl more.

Hey there, when you call and make your reservation you can ask to be placed in a certain loop, but not a site. You'll give them the size of your tt and any slides or other details they need to know and before you arrive they would look at what's in the loop and see where you'd fit according to your needs. You can send in a request by fax for a certain site a couple days before you arrive.

If the 400 loop looks good to you, you should go with those instincts. The location is good and if I recall correctly, the inner loops seemed to be more wooded than the outer.

We were newbies (still are!) pulling our 30 ft tt to FW at Thanksgiving. It was only our 3rd trip ever with a tt. We loved Loop 1400, so did our kids (all 4 of them!) because it was in the middle of everything. We requested it again for June, and we are not getting a golf cart for the 1st time ever at the Fort, because we just didn't need it! We barely used it because we were so close to everything. If we don't get Loop 1400, we're happy just to be at Disney!:goodvibes

Glad to hear the positive comments on the 1400 loop sites. We are going in Aug 08 and chose the 1400 loop to be close to the Meadows area and near the campfire and movies at night : We stayed in the cabins in Nov 2003 and never managed to catch the movie or campfire. Really looking forward to this next trip :woohoo:
