Booking Individually

Ok, here it is. I read something somewhere that booking items individually would save money on a WDW trip. We did save money - but not a drastic savings. I know this would be different for other considering length of stay and flying to Orlando. We are flying to a different part of florida to see family as well as spend a few days at Disney!

Here's our budget savings:

Airlines (Southwest) Price range 1200-1500
Advanced Fun Fares: $890
Savings: Few $100

Hotel: AAA booking for Pop century
Price range: $221
Our price: $187.00
Savings: approx. $30.00

Admission Ticket to Parks thru Ticketmania (w/ mousesaver discount)
Normal Price Range: $510.00
Our price $493.00 (with free shipping)
Savings: Approx. $17.00

All in all any savings at Disney is a blessing and besides now we can go to a charater meal! Yeah!!! Best of luck to all of you planning trips. Feel free to post any questions.

We're flying Southwest also...and for two of us it came to a total of $310.80. Of course, where you're flying from and where you're flying to could be why you're paying more.

Yeah, I think it's where you're flying from. We are flying from Prov to Orl and paid about $600 for 4 people. But that's with $59 and $69 flights. It typically is cheaper to purchase things separate although this year we took advantage of the new codes (YQC) and ended up saying $100. We paid $1299 for 4 people, 7 nites at Pop with 8 day hoppers.

We got 8 tickets from SWA from Raleigh to Orlando for $599!! We were so excited to get this! We also got the vacation package they are offering right now and got one room at POP for 8 nights and 4- 5 day expiring passes (3 adults and 1 child) for $1212.00. Our other room is for 8 nights at POP with 4-10 day non expiring passes (4 adults) for $1744.00. We were pretty pleased with these prices. We used the same code as the previous poster.
