I hope someone can here can help me, I've just got off the phone with the most unhelpful CM ever! (I knew it was a bad sign when she answered the phone with a very worried 'Hello?' :teeth: )

I'm doing a split stay trip in February, half offsite, and half in Disney. It looks like the best way to book the Disney portion is via their UK website, with a hotel/ticket package, since I want the DP. But as I'm not going to be staying there until 10 days into my holiday, can I get the package with a 14 park ticket, but use the ticket before I check in?

In short (because that can't be an easy to follow paragraph!), when you book a package in the UK, do you get sent your tickets beforehand, or given them when you check in?

Many thanks! :)

I could be wrong (as I've never done it) but I have a feeling your ticket is linked to your room key so you don't get it until you check in. Also, I think you can probably only buy the MYW passes as a package with room and DP. The 14-day ultimate ticket (if that's what you mean) is only available in the UK, for UK residents, as far as I'm aware.

It may well be worth you calling back and speaking to another CM.

As an aside, what you can do, although it will work out a bit more expensive, is book the room with DP and a 1-day ticket only (you don't have to purchase a length of stay pass) each. Although it will work out more expensive in the long run, it might be easier for you. Alternatively, why not contact Dreams Unlimited. From what I hear, they're really helpful and will also be able to book ADRs for you :)

I asked about this as well as we wanted to do the villa part first and she said no, we couldn't do it like that, you only get your tickets when you check in :(

Can you not do the Disney bit first and the villa afterward?

Unfortunately not, we've already booked the first hotel through Virgin. (Decided it would be an anti-climax to do Disney then International Drive :teeth: )

You can definately get the 14-day ticket as part of the DP (I've spent hours checking  ), but if you can only get your tickets when you check in, it looks like it's back to the drawing board! :guilty:
