booking hotel separate from MYM tickets

My question is, can I go on mousesavers.com and use a room code to book a room, and then buy the MYM tickets with the meal option separate? Or do they all have to be booked together, with the standard room rate?

From what I have been told by my TA, to get the dinning option you will only beable to get this through a package not with a room only.

And are the packages regular rack rates, or are they sometimes discounted?, or how does that work????

Maybe then if I can get the room alot cheeper (I am thinking AKL), then it would be cheaper to just not get the dining option....

the packge rates that are being quoted for the MYW packages are regular rack rate plus the cost of the park passes. There doesn't seem to be any additional "padding" in there.

In the past, when they've done a room only code, they have also done a package code that works out to about the same ....

but these are all new packages, so you'd have to wait until new discounts come out for them to see...

I'm waiting to see if AAA discounts can be applied to the new packages...
As before, you can always book a rack rate package and hope a code comes out...

What do you mean you can book a rack rate package and hope a code comes out? I thought the package was only on the rack rate hotel rooms? I thought you couldn't use a code for a hotel that was booked with a package? I guess I'm confused.
