hey everyone. well i am gonna book a room at HoJo tonight with my friends, I just wanted to see if this is a good room to be booking since I never been to california before and do not know how that hotel is.

NQQ1-BALCONY/NON-SMOKING/2 QUEENS
PREMIUM/DISNEY VIEW/UPPER FLOOR
FRIDGE/COFFEEMAKER/HAIRDRYER/INTERNET

anyone ever stay in a room like this? and when it says upper floor, does that mean i get the high ceiling room? thanks so much!! :earsboy:

We stayed for four nights last month prior to our Eastbound Repositioning Cruise. We stayed on the 7th floor, room 711 and loved our view and room. The ceiling was high. Be aware the trees have grown and the view of fireworks may not be clear due to trees but we saw the fireworks just great.

Our room did not have a microwave. Some may not want a room so high in building one because you wait longer for an elevator.

Just be warned that if it is one of the high floor rooms you will have a skylight.
I know another poster on Laughingplace that said she woke up too early each morning due to sunlight streaming thru the skylight.

I had a top floor room last time and enjoyed the view. The sun didn't bother me but I wake up early on routine basis, also the time change (Central) had me off kilter form the area.. we always wake up WAY too early on our Disneyland trips. Then have to wait anxiously for opening! LOL :hyper:

lol thats exactly what i was thinking lol. yea it says upper level when we reserved the room, so i hope its a skylight....plus we will def never be sleeping and DEF be waking up at 7 to run to the parks!! lol

We stayed on the 4th floor and had a great view of the fireworks! The neatest thing was we could hear the music along with the firework show. :goodvibes

Booking and "upper floor" does not mean you will definately get a skylight room. There are great views of the monorail, park and fireworks from floor 4, 5, 6 and 7. Only the top floor has the skylight rooms. I happend to love those rooms but if you don't like the light coming into the rrom when the sun comes up, this is not a room for you. But you can request a non skylight room on your reservation.

I got one of those skylight rooms , and I didn't book an "upper floor" room. I was on the second floor of building 5 (a 2 story building), garden view, I think it was. That skylight was the biggest pain, the sunlight streaming in at 6:00-6:30 was a big reason why I'd think twice about staying there again.

when would i find out if i would be getting a skylight room? only when i check in? i would actually prefer one since im use to sunlight in the morning plus i dont wanna miss going to the park frist thing lol ::MickeyMo

That's the exact same booking we got, and we got a 4th floor room.

It's a great room with a good view of the fireworks (slightly restricted by trees) but the room was a good size, the beds were great, and the fridge big enough to store milk, juice and a few extras.

A great room in a great hotel.

lucykate, we have 3 ppl will that be good enough? also was it skylight or u had to ask for one?

No skylight -they are the 7th floor rooms.

We had 4 people (2 adults and 2 children, 9 and 6) and there was plenty of room. I was surprised at how big it was.

Bathroom was small though.
