Booking Hard to get Rooms at 8am

I've seen posts about this, but can't find it now.

If I'm modifying a reservation right at 8am, can I already be in the modify reservation page and click "check availability" right at 8am?

I tried to do it this morning for a hard to get room (BWV 2 bedroom standard or boardwalk view), that's currently being walked. I clicked on "check availability" right at 8am as per a world clock, and then continue immediately after, but got the error message that I couldn't book until 8am. By the time the page refreshed, the rooms were obviously gone.

So if you're trying to book a hard to get reservation, what's the best way to do it?

So if you're trying to book a hard to get reservation, what's the best way to do it?

I often find the Disney website clock is OFF by a few seconds and apparently is not tied into the world clock like the app / Gennie+ is. (Same with online check-in with SW - I also rely on the atomic clock and they're not quite in sync.) I always seem to get that damn slow spinning & error message more often than not. Very frustrating.

I think many of us can feel your pain. Just a couple of mornings ago, I was trying to book a week in a 2BR at BCV. I just did my best to wait until just a few seconds after my clock showed 8am before clicking the button to check availability and somehow it worked this time. But as often as not, I seem to get the same result you did... Not sure there is any sure fire method, just sometimes you get lucky and other times not.

You can go into modify but can’t click check availability until 8 am. You have to stay near the calendar with dates….
