Booking for November 2008

I plan to book and pay for our hotel and passes for our Disneyland November 2008 vacation today while the dollar is still up but I have a couple of questions. We plan to go Nov 14-21, 2008 and I believe in there in Thanksgiving. We usually go the week before Thanksgiving but I understand that possibly this year there were some changes (I could be wrong). Is Santa at Disneyland already or is he arriving after Thanksgiving? Same with the Christmas parade, has it already started or are they waiting until after Thanksgiving?

Maybe I can help. Thanksgiving is going to be late next year....Nov. 27th.

I was at DL on Nov. 16th...last week. The Christmas Parade, Santa's Roundup and all the holiday stuff started that day. I can't imagine DL starting the holidays any later than that, so you should be able to catch some, or all, of the magic during the week you are going. My guess...and this is just a guess mind you...but I'd guess that the holiday stuff will begin on Friday, Nov. 14th next year.

We're planning to go to WDW next November but earlier in the month......Nov. 8th - 16th. Never too early to start planning, I say. Can you believe our sons got bored at DL? Oh well...just gives me an excuse to go to WDW again. Maybe I'll actually get to see Epcot this time.

HMH was opened in late September. Small World Holiday opened, I believe, on Nov. 9.
