Hi all,

We are just signing up to DVC and have only just sent the paperwork back to Disney.

I read in the paperwork somewhere that we can start booking immeadiatley.

Does that mean that we can book before the sale is complete?

also, does the 11 month period go by exact date? we are looking at going 30th August 2007. Does that mean we can book on 30th September 2006?

Thanks for all you help (again) :)

yes we did. hope this helps, if you are at all unsure phone you guide or go online and check your details

In the example you gave, you could only book one day (30th August) on 30th September - if MS is open on a Saturday by that time (I believe this is due to happen; I just don't know when). It needs to be 11 months from the day you check out to make the whole booking in one go. So if you check in on 30th August and out on 9th September for example, you would need to wait until 9th October to make the full booking.

For hard-to-get reservations or very popular times, people do ring Member Services on a daily basis to get exactly what they want. You may find the free planner by Caskbill (one of the Disboard moderators) useful as it gives you the exact dates you can make your bookings at 11 and 7 months (for non-home resorts). http://web.nalu.net/~wneth/dvcplanner.htm

Hope I've helped and not confused you :)

Thanks for your help, i have received my dvc member log on details today for the member website so ive had a look there. i think i'm getting the hang of it all now :)
