Got right thru at 9am and was able to book reserved seating for 5. Very glad that is done.

I don't want to hang up because they are still telling me that call volume is high and the wait will be long, and I don't have anything else to do, but.....I called at 9:00 too and I'm still on hold at 12:35. I'll give them to 1:00.

To add... I hung up at 1:00 and then called back. With that call I was on hold for about 20 minutes and was able to get what I wanted....a room change at my 7 month mark.

I told her the story and she said she'll tell her manager.

Just called and booked two for the Sept. 23 event -- the middle tier of seating. This will be our first PFTS -- really looking forward to this event! (I was only on hold about 10 minutes, so call volume is apparently better than this morning.) As luck would have it, today was also my FP+ window day. So I've been busy.

Who will do nothing. They know this problem exists with their phone system. They have known for years They don't care!

We had issues getting availability for PFTS ... inventory wasn't available or released for some of the dates and that issue is persisting into today. Some days are showing sold out for Reserved Seating and the reality is that nothing has yet been booked. Apparently, it depends on the CM you get and the Supervisor they engage (and which group they escalate to). What a mess ... we had a similar issue when we tried to book the Thanksgiving DVC event ... called first thing, sat on hold for 40 minutes and was told that they had a glitch in the system and the inventory wasn't available for booking. :/

You would think that by now they would have this figured out.

btw, I contacted Disney Chase VISA on the 18th and they had no idea what I was talking about or how to book it ... does anyone have the phone number number we should be calling?

They kept directing me here: https://disneyrewards.com/offers/ and advised there was nothing listed for Food and Wine. :/

Chase did not sponsor this year. So they don't have any role in the booking. No early booking advantage.

At this point you should have been calling wdw-dine or wdw-fest. General booking opened sometime this morning!

I don't think there is one announced.

Several of the "fan sites" continued to assume it was Chase until the media event last week so you probably did see references.
