I talked to DVC yesterday about this and they said they could not confirm a booking date yet - they still have not received the training they will get regarding booking food and wine for DVC members. The CM did confirm that in the past we have been able to book 2 days before the public window opens, so that would be July 18. Again, I CANNOT confirm, but this is a best guess for now...I'm anxiously waiting too!I've heard conflicting info - some say tomorrow (7/13) for DVC and online there was something about July 19th.
Great, thanks for that confirmation. I'll be on the phone bright and early on July 18.Confirmed limited early booking for DVC.

As part of Membership Magic Ever After, Disney Vacation Club Members may get a jump start on booking specially ticketed experiences at this year’s festival, including culinary demonstrations, beverage seminars and the highly anticipated “Party for the Senses.” While guests may begin booking the culinary demonstrations, beverage seminars and “Mix It, Make It, Celebrate It” experience at 7 a.m. Eastern on July 20, Members may do so through Member Services beginning at 9 a.m. Eastern on July 18. (Note that Members also receive a $2 discount off culinary demonstrations and beverage seminars held Monday through Thursday.)
Members looking to enjoy the popular “Party for the Senses” experience, meanwhile, may call Member Services to book from a block of 50 seats reserved for Members at both the Sept. 23 and Oct. 21 parties until Aug. 4, after which any remaining spaces will become available for Members and guests alike. As an added bonus, Members taking advantage of this unique “Party for the Senses” opportunity will receive a complimentary specially designed wine glass.

Does anyone know if I book a culinary demonstration and have to cancel it later, whether I can get a refund?
So, DVC members can early book only those two party of the senses? If I will be in town for the 10/28 party of the senses, can I early book? And are they early booking the wineview lounge, or whatever it's called?
Based on what I have read you can book early for any PFTS. However....you are not going to be able to book at 10/28 PFTS, there isn't one that day!

I am still wondering what is so special about the two parties that are especially mentioned. Does that mean that they will keep extra capacity for DVC members? Wouldn't those 50 seats be booked up on the first day anyway?
They are "themed" to Disney. The first one is "Disney Springs Chefs", the second one is "Disney Chefs" (which last year included Chefs from the international parks)
I think the 50 seats are pulled from the regular seats, since in the past "general admission" has not sold out day 1 for all parties it's possible they could have some left....
So, do we think we can book reserved seating or wineview lounge for the PFTS this am?
We'll find out soon. I'm calling in to get tickets for the WVL for the party so countdown is on to see exactly what we can book.
