Do you generally book your flights as a package along with the room, or do you book them separately? And which airline do you usually fly with, trying to figure out how to do our flights next year

I would almost never book a package I can usually do it myself cheaper. I fly Virgin but the prices are getting a bit insane. I just like the convenience of it though. You will certainly get cheaper flights if you are prepared to go indirect.

We booked our flights seperatly to everything else. We are flying from Gatwick to Orlando direct with BA.

we nearly always book everything separately but we do look at packages as well, but its very rare a package is cheaper for us.

We normally go direct with VA but we are nearly always out of season so our flights are cheap (well cheap for Orlando), this year they were £430 each. If we had to go peak time then I would always shop around and go with the cheapest. Don't care who we fly with or if its economy or PE because for us its just a mean to an end and we have done that journey so often it goes by quite quickly now.:)

The last time I priced up a package they (VH) wanted around £12,000 (included OKW & cruise) we did DIY for under £6,000.
Over 10 years since I bought a package now.

Never rule it out though, packages can be bought before flight only plus you only pay a deposit with balance about 10 weeks to travel, they do work for some, especially low season when prices are good and they need to sell.
