Booking flights through Disney Travel?

I just booked my Buy 4-Get 3 WDW Vacation Package on the Disney website.

I had already researched airlines, fares, times, etc. independently and found that Disney was offering the same sale fares as my favored airline. So for convenience, I went ahead and just booked it all at once through Disney with one single transaction.

Now I'm freaking out about it a little bit. Not because I don't trust Disney to actually book the flight I requested and paid for. Just because I like to have control over my flight information and ability to request seats, etc. In the past I've always purchased my flights separate from my package.

My question is this... besides the confirmation I received via email, and the one I'll probably get in the mail... is there any other flight information that will be coming to me with my other trip documents? If I want to request specific seats, do I need to contact Disney Travel? Or is there any way for me to speak directly to the airline about my flights?

Sorry if this has been discussed many times over. The search function seems to be taking sooooo long lately and I'm having my usual post-package-purchasing-panic. :scared:

Thanks!

You will either get paper tickets or an email with your flight information.

When I booked my trip through Disney last February (July trip) we received paper tickets in the mail from Disney travel. The few things that I didn't like was since I bought them through Disney travel and had paper tickets I couldn't check in online. Also when you purchase tickets directly you can choose your seat and with paper tickets you don't get that option.
After a few phone calls and many email directly to Airtran I got my airline confirmation #. Don't contact Disney because it will be different and they had no idea what I was talking about. So Airtran gave me the information and I was able to go in and pick my seats but I did have to pay for them. I guess with Airtran you can pick your seats at the time of booking if you book directly through them at no charge.
