A while back there was talk about a trial of some for of FP+ for the transpiration buses and resort guests booking a time for pick up has there been anymore word on this ??

Some of the resorts had some kind of video display thing going on showing bus arrival times.... I think if I'm remembering right.

Just wondering if this trial has died or did more come of it?

24 hours before you check out you will get a note from Magical Express tellig you what time to be at the ME Kiosk.

You dont do anything except show up.

No not the ME bus this was the park buses... I'll see if I can find the old info about the test phase they were doing...

Here is a link to the Arrival time board shown at Grand Floridian.

I'm around here a lot, and I have never, ever heard of this.

No FP for bus transportation. Never even heard of such a thing. As far as the overhead boards go, POR had them when we were there last month. They were pretty accurate....although they did change by a minute or so every so often. Some resorts have them, others don't yet.

Thanks for the info good to know nothing has really change other than the introduction of the arrival boards which is quite a nice feature.

There was a rumor about FP+ reservations for bathroom breaks. I remember a couple of threads in the very beginning of April.

This is personal speculation, not a rumor...

Could Disney be considering allowing guests to view the bus arrival time screen on their smartphones? Not sure if it would be good or bad for Disney. We have 20 minutes until the next bus leaves our resort. Enough time to shop in the gift shop OR Honey the bus leaves in 2 minutes. Put down the junk you were going to buy and lets run to the stop.

Take it to the next level. You get some kind of alarm on your smartphone telling informing you need to catch a bus in 12 minutes if you want to get to the park in time for your ADR.

This is not far-fetched. Lots of cities have a system called "next-bus" You simply call a phone # and when prompted enter the stop # that is posted on the bus sign. Super easy if they already have the "arrival-time" screens since that means they are following the buses via GPS. Some larger cities have the same technology that works via texting as well.
