Although we have been to WDW many times we have not eaten at Cinderella's castle. I am a little intimidated by all of the stories of trying to get a reservation. I have to call on Dec 15th. Does anyone have any good tips for getting a lunch reservation during our June stay? Thanks!

If I were you ... I would exactly 180 days out AND start calling at 6:59 am. I would be the first one on that phone that day. Seriously.

Good luck!

time on a specific day. The first time we went to CRT was when they changed the ADR window to 180 days. The UG showed 90 days call ahead. I called at what I believed to be the 91st day to check my calculations and got one of the two days we wanted for lunch. The last time we went we had to adjust our schedule later in the planning process. We probably finalized our CRT ADR around 110 - 120 days before arrival and had options for both days we had picked out. The first time was in July and the second in June.

This time we're trying to get the first lunch ADR so I'll be up early on Dec 24th to make the call.

There are a couple of additional things working in your favor.

1) The economy is down

2) Many people are unaware that you can get CRT, CM and V&A at 180 days still. The 90 day rule is cited often without those three exceptions.

Good luck

Also if you don't get it on your first try keep calling. We are a party of 7 so tables for us are not as pletiful. I kept calling almost every day and got in for breakfast at a reasonable time just last week for our trip in February. So about the 60day mark. People cancel all the time especially because there is a charge if you don't cancel so persistance can pay off

Try not to stress about it. Our trip was about 150 days away when I called for our reservation with no problems. If your heart is set on it, of course call as soon as you can, but if you're flexible with you dining date I'm sure you'll manage to nab it. Good luck!

I keep hearing about how hard it is to get, but we haven't had trouble and we've gone there for lunch three times at three different times of the year. I don't get up at the crack of dawn to get on the phone to make my ADRs. I generally don't call until I can make reservations for my entire trip so that I don't have to make multiple calls. We're flexible on day and time as long as we can have lunch sometime there during our trip, and they always find us something.

If we didn't go to WDW so often, and it was a once in a lifetime opportunity, I might stress about it more. As it is, I don't mind if we don't go every trip, so if sometime it turns out not to be available since I didn't call at dawn on the first possible day, then it isn't a great loss to us. But so far, it has been available every time I've asked about it.

We are going in March and got the ADR for lunch at CRT our first try. I guess we called mid November or so. Call ASAP but don't stress either :) Good luck

I had no trouble for our trip in Sep/Oct. I booked for a breakfast at 180 days out. Then, we changed our dates by one day and I had to change our CRT ressie. It was about 120 out and I was still able to get a table for pre park hours - which is what I wanted.

I just recently made our CRT breakfast reservation. I called on my first possible day at about 9:30 a.m. and got a reservation just fine. The ADR wasn't as late in the morning as I would have liked (I still need to make a BBB reservation, which of course we can't yet), but the time will hopefully work out just fine. :)

I would have called first thing in the morning, but the website that has the dining calculator on it said my 180 mark was one date (Dec. 3rd) and my DS's trip calculator said 180 should be the day before (Dec 2nd). I decided to try on Dec. 2nd just in case his was the right one, and I was able to make the reservation with no problem. Glad I didn't wait any longer!

Try not to stress too much. Since you are going for a busier time. Call 180 days out at 7am. Lunch is easier to get than breakfast. You should be okay. I got super stressed over this ADR and I got a perfect time for the day I wanted. Good luck;)

Thanks everyone! I will stop stressing and just call early on the 15th. Great advice!

I called for my January trip in October, and they had a few times open on the day I wanted, but I wouldn't risk it. I would definitely call as far ahead as you possibly can (180 days out). It's definitely worth it!!

I think lunch is easier to get anyway, we had a blast my DD loved seeing all the princess's and the food wasn't half bad either.

We booked our January trip in August, so we already missed the 180 day cutoff. Then I forgot to call for a few days. We had no problem getting a reservation, although I had to try three different days of my trip (we are going to be there for a week). But, we were making a reservation for 11, so that may of had something to do with it as well.

In other words, I didn't have any problems at all making a reservation for Cinderella's breakfast.

I'm 180 days out and just booked my ADR for Cindy's Breakfast for 181 days out. I'm a resort guest, so I can book 180 + 10 days. (we're going June 10-14; then a 4 night DCL!)

I was really surprised I got the ressie. Party of 8, a Grand Gathering. Got the time and day I wanted and didn't call until almost 5 p.m. Disney time.

We tried to get a ressie on our last trip and couldn't get it for any days of our trip. I'm wondering if bookings are way down because this just seemed too easy compared to other times. The Disney rep wasn't hurrying me and chatting about anything and everything related to this dining experience.

I think a lot of people who would normally vacation aren't now. Fortunately, this trip has been two years in the planning for us, so I've had plenty of time to save some money. That's the only way we could go.

Back in the days of the 90 day window, breakfast at CRT was *really* tough to get. The stories about being on the line at 6:59:59 and interrupting the nice CM as soon as they answered were true. Since then, three things have happened -

1 - The window opened to 180 days. There are far fewer vacationers who have their trip scheduled 5-6 months out than there are who have plans at three months

2 - The price went up significantly. Disney recognized that the demand for the meal cried out for a higher price

3 - They added characters to lunch, which took a little pressure off the breakfast

Combine these three with the economic climate, and chances are good that other than high-demand days (Christmas week, July 4, . . . . ) tables will be available for groups of four and six for the first few days, if not weeks after the window opens. Of course, it doesn't hurt to call the morning of the first day if you already know your plans. (But I wouldn't stress out about being on the line right when the lines open, especially if you live on the West Coast like I do.)

I'm not sure about tables for groups larger than six, but I know there are only four tables for two in the whole place. I have sat at all of them, and three of the four have great views by the window.

I'm one of the odd-balls, in that I like going to CRT because I really like the food. I share a few pleasantries with the princesses, always take a photo with Belle, and then go back to eating.

I used to eat at CRT every trip. Now that the price has gone up, I haven't gone in about three years. It's probably time to go back - I miss the French Toast.

I had no problem booking in late January 2007 for CRT lunch at noon on June 18th at noon. I think breakfast may be more difficult than lunch.
