Booking Chef Mickey Breakfast

Pity you cant do a search for any char breakfast between two dates on the res system.

If you phone they can do that for you. It will take a bit of time but the CMs are very willing to help. Which 2 dates are you looking for and will you take any time for breakfast? Would you consider lunch if available?

It could always be worth taking a punt on one of the restaurants and turning up.... we did!

Okay, tried everything with Chef Mickey (also did them all with 4 guests, which sometimes works better than 3 )

I found a Tusker House lunch: 9th of October for 3 people, 1.05, 1.20 and 1.35 pm. Similar Characters as CM. I will see what else I can find. Your family will get one. Let me know. I am watching this thread. I am holding it in my basket and the system will keep it for about 15 minutes. If you want it, let me know and I will release it for you to grab. No hard feelings if you don't, we will get you something else.

paul I have two ressies at chef mickeys and am wanting to change one to cape may but no availibility at the moment thats why i havent cancelled it.The one I may be cancelling is 30/09/ at 10.45.Its for 3 people. I prefer dinner there so if someone can find me a cape may or another character apart from ohana tusker house CP for the late morning that day I will cancel for paul to have mine.

How nice of you! And you are also a party of three so it would be perfect. Okay, so we are now looking for a Cape May, late morning for 3 guests on the 30th and for any character meal, but preferably Chef Mickey for Paul's dates. Something has to give.

Are you up to a late night Paul? EST puts the cancellation at around 1 am but Kelly (post 728) has invited anyone to PM her for anything off her list.

another tac, try donalds bfast at ak, SAME CHARACTERS!!!
food is much nicer imho, and as you have to go into the park you might find it quieter
i would also say ohanas bfast is very good and so is crystal palace
getting adrs is getting harder and trying consstantly seemms to be the only answer.

I put all charcter bfasts in that day (30th sept) and nothing came up except tusker house which Iv already booked with the nemo package. I really love chef de france but will end up with coral reef lecellier and teppanedo as well if I book chefs.DD wants to keep CM but she thinks we are only doing it once.I am sure paul you could do a walk up.When I went in dec last there were a few waiting for walk ups and they all got seated.Did have one stroppy one at ohana who thought her and her family should take preference over people that had booked. I felt a great sense of satisfaction knowing she was in for a lonnnnnnnggggg wait as her party was for 8 Sorry just annoys me when we have all planned and you get some tool expect to just be seated straight away with no reservation-what a half wit. At least if you do a walk up you expect to wait and paul chef mickeys has a fast turnover so you should be ok. Why dont you try a lunchtime the first couple of days in october as the F&W festival starts and people will be trying things there. Like I say will be checking out the sept cancellation board and promise you can have mine if I cancel.I go before you so you will know by tues at the latest.

just to let you know since the recent changes (Chef Mickey no longer visiting the tables-he's just there for the picture at the start)
Ive heard a few say theyre planning to cancel their Adr's, some were around your time. So keep trying, im sure when you check in you could get them to try for an Adr

TBH I am not sure why people are cancelling because of that, but if it gives others a chance to book, great news! You still get your picture taken and autograph - just at the beginning instead of at the table. Now if you were not allowed to use your own camera and were forced to buy the picture then I could see people not wanting to eat there, but it really doesn't change much except there is one less character to have to wait for at the table. This could be a bit of a mixed blessing, since you have to get up and fetch food from the buffet so it should make it easier.
