Booking cash and points stay.

Hi..Iam hoping to book an 8 night stay at BCV 1 bed. Can I book night 1 cash through MS middle 6 nights points...then last night cash through MS? Then join them into 1 ressie?
How would dining plan work? Would I have to check in 3 times and get three sets of magic bands?

Can I pay for both cash nights upfront or will they only let me pay for 1? I really don't want the bill when I check in.

As long as you book the cash stays through MS, the reservation will end up as one continuous 8 night stay. It will be treated that way by the resort and for dining plan purposes.

Of course, the cash nights are subject to availability, just as the points stays are - there may or not be cash availability and it will be independent of the points availability.

You will need to pay for the cash nights with a credit card with you book them via DVC MS.

From some past booking experience, I would say there is a chance you wont see a cash night at DVC member discount come open via MS till closer to the 7 month window. Not always the case but I think 2 out 3 prior times we wanted to add a night with the discount it was somewhere around 7 to 9 months out before they had it. The other time was at the 11 month window, or right near.

When I booked a 4 day reservation some points some cash the m.s.
Rep told me depending on the resort they limit the amount of cash
Days allowed not quite sure how that works . I managed to book three with
Points and have one cash day she told me to call back 30 days before check in
Wait listed for last day and see if they would allow me to pay cash .
Each resort she said have different rules luckily the last day came through on points. Maybe someone can clarify this for me . Thanks
