Booking car hire

So I'm getting nearer to booking this but I just wanted to check a couple of things:


On Alamo they have CDW and EP

on Airline Network the Dollar cars have Loss Damage Waiver and SLI

What are the differences is SLI the same as third party insurance/liability ?

Is CDW the same as loss damage waiver?

Loss Damage Waiver is the same as Collision Damage Waiver.

SLI (Supplementary Liability Insurance) is what we would call third party insurance in the UK.

Not sure what EP is. Perhaps Extended Protection? I would guess that this is the same as SLI, but it would be sensible to check this as the cost of being sued in the USA could be enormous.
