where have people been booking there cabana bay universal stay ? i have found what i think is a good price

hotels.com £448 with taxes and fees included, will book via quidco and get cashback

our dates are 10th -17th sept and the same dates on expedia are coming up £616

just wondering if anybody knows any others worth looking at where i may find better

Not Cabana Bay but I booked RPR recently via BA.com and know lots of others on The Dibb have been doing the same as BA have had some great prices for Universal hotels recently.

Is that for a suite, if so think it is a great price.

We booked with Amoma both times as they were cheapest for our dates. Paid £63 a night with quidco in October, slightly less year before. Regular room. Remember parking is $12 a night.

SMSM rates for your dates (based on 2 adults max in the room) is $682 (£450 at the current exchange rate) for a standard, and $938 ( £618 ) for a suite.

I've just checked, and a standard on expedia is £450 and a suite is £618, same prices as on hotels.com

you need to compare like for like. The prices you quoted from hotels.com and expedia.co.uk were not for the same type of room.

those rates are good, on either site but they're not great as you're not saving anything over the Loews or Universal website

but this will allow you to Quidco and that's where your savings will come from. But you'll not save more than your cashback (and bank fees if you get them when paying in USD)

there might be deals later in 2016 on cheaptickets or other sites, but right now you won't make it any cheaper than the Stay More Save More price (- quidco)

thankyou i hadnt realised they were different rooms i just put in our number of people and looked at the amount that came up , i have since been on hotels.com and comes up at the suite price so maybe it was playing up that day and not recognised our 5th person.

defo dont want to pay anywhere near the £600 price we will look at off site round i drive or lake bv instead .

Cabanna bay is amazing.
And the rooms that sleep 5 or more are really spacious.
However if you literally just want a place to crash then you could probably get something off site for cheaper.

We booked direct with Virgin for a two week stay which was a very good price with flights included. Also Virgin threw in some freebes such as 2 week universal tickets which is what made them competitive.

Without the free tickets it would have been about average price.

Cabana bay is epic!!! Loved the hotel so much, couldn't find anything to complain about.

That's pretty great about the free tickets, I've never heard them doing that.
