Booking BWV in late Oct at 7 mos?

My wife and I just bought 300 points at SSR with a Dec UY, we like SSR, but for the time being have twin 3yr olds who we think would enjoy BWV much more for the next few years atleast and our fav time to visit WDW is durring Halloween time. Will we have any luck booking a 2 bedroom at BWV at 7 months or is it a pipedream? Were not looking to go in 08, but want to to start going again in 09.

October is during the Food and Wine festival and the most popular resorts are BCV and BWV. It would be very unlikely to book at 7 months. Not impossible, but I would not count on doing it.

I think you could get it. Of course, if you try for '09 and don't, you could always do a small add on at BWV, so you'll be fine for '10!

We own some points at BWV and that's not our favorite time to use those points...there have got to be others who feel the same way. If you try, even day by day at 7 months, I think you will get it, preferred view... that's what most of the resort is.

We were successful in booking BWV day by day at 7 months, but we got preferred view -- not boardwalk view or standard. We are still waitlisted for a BW view studio. No complaints here (10/16 to 10/19).

Thanks for the input. I have to admitt I wished I had known about these discussion boards prior to buying not that it would have changed our minds. Theres just such gret information posted here and everyone is so quick to help, so thanks again everyone.
