Booking BC during F&W

Oh, there is another possibility that is often overlooked.

I just - against what I ever THOUGHT would happen - used David's to rent points next summer at HHI at $14 a point. I'm turning around and David will pay me $11 a point for my BWV points - I'm thinking they will be easy to get rid of over F&W. I'll have a $3 a point delta - but I know that the girl scouts that I promised HHI to next summer will be staying at HHI the week that works for us all. If its important, rent points from a BWV owner and pay for it by renting out your home resort points.

The other thing is that with a one year old - its probably going to be a number of years before you are stumbling back from Epcot for F&W. Most of us aren't really comfortable being too sloshed around our kids - and the kids really usually do want to be in bed at a reasonable hour. Which, for us, turned Food and Wine into a mid-afternoon exercise in moderation - even when we were staying at BWV (which is home for us). For a mid-afternoon exercise in moderation - any resort does as well as any other resort :)

Oh yes-- this is definitely for a "mom and dad ONLY" trip. And really, just getting ideas... by the time we do this he'd be 3 or 4 and happy to stay at home with Grandma and Grandpa!

Thanks for your thoughts!

Don't count on that. :) I can't imagine how betrayed my children would have been at 3 or 4 had we gone NEAR Disney and left them with Grandma and Grandpa. And they love their grandparents - who live on a lake and take them boating and fishing and swimming.

Now mine are fourteen and fifteen, and the fifteen year old will happily stay home than go to Disney (AGAIN :rolleyes2) - but the fourteen year old would be betrayed, I think she'll play hookie from college to go along - we won't manage to shake her.

We do Mom and Dad only trips - but we wouldn't get away with it at Disney
