Booking Aulani March 7-months

So here's the deal...we can get a pretty decent flight time/price out of Toronto for our planned Aulani trip in March.

We want to book 3-nights OV studio March 11-14 then 1 week in an island view 2-bedroom March 14-21 when friends join us.

I guess I'm asking should we book the airline tickets now even though I can't book until August? I don't know who popular Aulani is in March!

We have been there twice in April with no problem booking 7 months. March though usually includes spring break and I know aulani is very busy during spring break periods so you might want to do a little research to see when most spring breaks occur next year

We are going because it is our spring break in our Ontario school district (actually the break is March 16-20 but we are heading out a few days early.)

I was hoping since Easter 2015 is in April it wouldn't be too busy. I checked availability for March 2014 up to about 5 months and their seemed to be lots available for that month.

It's driving me crazy lol!

My understanding from staff is that middle of June for duration of summer is very busy. For kicks I just checked end of June 2014 and there was nothing available. But that's only a few weeks away. So seven months out could be fine.

I booked a studio OV at 7 month march 9-14, 2014 for my sons honeymoon with no issues

Well, we like to live dangerously so we went ahead and booked it! Actually we booked 2 tickets for free on points and only had to pay for 1 ticket out of pocket.

Here's hoping things are good to go come August 11th!

For both Feb and March 2014, Aulani was open 7 months out except for several times when standard view was gone three or four nights a week. Last part of June was a different story with rooms in all categories missing some days in the week.
