Booking at 7 Month in Dec.

I currently have a 2 bedroom booked for 12/19 -12/24 at AKV Kindani - our home resort . I want to switch it at the 7 month mark to either BCV or BWV. I know people have mentioned that the first couple if weeks in December are some of the busiest for DVC. What do you think my chances are of getting in at BCV or BWV? Thanks!

The best answer is that you just never know until you try! There will be competition, and some will be lucky and some will not. Your best chance will come if you call as soon as your window opens right at 9 am Eastern.

The largest number of 2 bedroom villas will be the Pool/Garden category at the BWV, so that's your best chance of getting into either BCV or BWV. Keep in mind that all of the 2 bedroom villas at the BWV are lock offs - so the second bedroom will have 1 queen bed and a double sleep sofa, as well as its own door to the hallway.

If you need a dedicated 2 bedroom, you will have to hope BCV has availability. There are 3 booking categories of 2 bedrooms there - lock off, dedicated with two queen beds in the second bedroom, and dedicated with one queen bed and a queen sleep sofa.

Don't be afraid to waitlist - you already have your back up.

there really is no sure way to tell. It is about the busiest DVC time. Just mark your calender, set your cell phone alarm and call first thing in the morning at the 7 month mark.
