Booking AP rate ??? about parents checking in w/out our AP's???

Okay I had to come to the experts on this. I booked our Jan. trip using AP rates that came out yesterday. I have never DONE THIS. So I booked one room for me and the kids (DH can't come) Then I decided to invite my parents so I called back today to see if I could book another room with my AP. The CM said yes. I put their names on the ressie but it is linked to ours and they got the AP rate. The CM told me today that I could book two rooms. Then my friend who also booked yesterday...she booked 3 rooms and she had to put her kids on the two friend's ressie who also don't have AP's to get that rate. She said used to..you could book 3 rooms per AP. That changed. SO I called back and then the CM told me that as long as I show two AP's I don't have to put one of my kids in their room which actually will more than likely happen anyway. LOL So.....I hung up and THEN REMEMBERED...that we are not checking in at the same time. Our flight arrives MCO at 7:30 and they drive and will probably arrive at like 3:00 or so. SOOOOOOOOOO I was wondering if they can check in without me.....if I promise to show the AP when I check in. Does that make sense??? I am sure this is not going to work but thought I would ask anyway. Thanks

We have found the front desk CMs to be very accomodating. Our first AP stay was at YC, my AP needed to be activated. They let us check in, told us to jsut drop back by the desk after activation to show it to them. We activated that evening after dinner and stopped back by and the CM said, you didn't have to do that, we trust you to be honest. I have to admit my jaw dropped.
