We will be on the Dream in February using our points.
We are looking at the Wonder cruise out of Miami next February.
Is there any benefit of booking this cruise onboard while on the Dream? We would be using points again. I know you get perks on a cash reservation. I pretty sure I know the answer but would like to get my ducks in a row if there are benefits. Thanks.

Things may have changed, so call MS. What I know is that you do not book for points while on the cruise. When you get off you call MS and book what you want, if it is available, for discounted points. The one time I tried to do this, I called to rebook too late.

Thanks Bobbi,

Hope you enjoyed Vero Beach!
We are heading there after the Dream for 3 days.

We enjoyed VB very much thank you! We had an ocean view inn room with a view that would rival one from a balcony on a ship!

Our next VB stay is before Disney's WBPC cruise this spring!

Enjoy your cruise and your VB stay!

Sorry to be a pain Bobbi,

How was the pool renovation going? Hope it didn't effect your stay! I think it supposed to be ready for the 10th.

Historically you had to make arrangements on board, they'd give you a voucher or number and then you'd call MS within 3 days of departing the ship. I seem to recall that process changed to give you more flexibility. I'd call DVC and talk to the department that handles cruises so you know where you stand. My suggestion is to look ahead of time at the cost and parameters for the next cruise including # of points and take that info with you. Then on board look at the cost of cash and then compare to how many points you'll end up with inclusive of any points discounts. I'm not totally sure how the process works now when the points schedule is not yet out for the next cruise, I've heard and simply not sure so I'll let others chime in there.
