Booking Annette's/Rainforest on the day?

Hi all, I know you can't book these restaurants 60 days in advance like you can with other places - but have I imagined that you can book on the morning for later that evening? Or is it only ever just turn up and wait?

Annette's definately cannot be booked, pretty sure its the same for the Rainforest Cafe
