Booking Alamo through Costco/reservation Valid?

Hi All,

I have a great rate of 197.00 for a mid size during Presidents Week with Alamo.

I used the Costco website to book and have a conformation number BUT when I attempt to retrieve the reservation through the Alamo website is says
'This coupon is not valid'

Has anyone had a problem with their Alamo/Costco reservation? Will Alamo confirm it with the reservation number Costco gave me?

We book almost all our car rentals through Costco. Never ever had a problem. If you are concerned, call Costco Travel to ease your fears.

I booked through Costco last year for our Disney trip. I had no issues and I was not able to look up my reservation through Enterprise either. You most likely can't access it because it was booked through Costco and not directly with the rental company. But like previous poster stated, you can always call Costco

The alamo website is terrible. We have had no issues booking through Costco and our last rental was with Alamo.

We got the same message on the website for 2 reservations for Minivans which we originally booked on the Alamo website using the Costco codes and coupon. Even though we were picking up in Miami on the day after Thanksgiving and returning in Orlando 6 days later, we had a crazy good rate of $203 (including taxes and fess) for each Minivan.

Long story short, our reservations were on file for the correct amount and they had lots of Minivans to choose from. Our only issue was with the second driver on one car. It took some time to fix that.

We got the same 'this coupon is not valid' message for our reservation this past Dec. I printed off the email from Costco just in case, but we didn't need it. The price was correct when we picked the car up. Alamo's site is just wonky and has been for months now.
